  • Big Thank You - PTA

    We wanted to say a HUGE 'thank you' to our amazing PTA for all of their hard work this year. Not only have they helped out at our school fairs and organised some fabulous events (including a World Book Day writing extravaganza, a silent disco, a colour run and Christmas crafts), they have also worked tirelessly behind the scenes applying for grants to raise money for school fund.

  • Seven Stories - Best Winter Ever

    Seven Stories are delighted to announce that they are delivering their HAF Programme again this year as part of Newcastle’s Best Holiday Ever. 

     

    They will be running free sessions on Friday 27th December, Monday 30th December, Thursday 2nd January and Friday 3rd January from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm.

     

    Sessions are open to any pupils entitled to means tested free school meals as places are intended for those most in need. Children will get to take part in interactive story times, crafts, exploring the magical building and local area and will finish with a hot meal.

  • Pre-Loved Items / Upcoming Non-Uniform

    -Reminder: If you have been keeping toys to one side for our pre-loved stall, we are still accepting these and will be up until Friday morning before the fayre.

     

    -Non Uniform - It will be Non-Uniform this Friday 13th & next Friday 20th plus the day of your children's party

  • Christmas Fayre Arrangements

    🎄 Christmas Fayre Arrangements 🎄

    ❄️ Children in Early Years are to be signed out from EY building from 1pm

    ❄️ Children in Key Stages 1 and 2 will be lined up on the yard for collection at 1pm. Teachers will use the fire register to sign children out to an adult. If you would like your child to attend the fayre with an adult different to those that usually collect at the end of the day, please notify the school office by 12pm on Friday 13th December. We cannot hand children over without parental consent.

    ❄️ As you wait, children from singing club will be performing on the yard (from 12.45pm).

    ❄️ Once you have visited the fayre, you are free to take your child home.

    ❄️ We look forward to seeing you all on Friday afternoon.

    This morning we held a whole school assembly to celebrate 'Stars in our School'. We said a huge thank you to all of our support staff for always going above and beyond to support the teachers and children in our school.

  • Free SEND Christmas Activities

    We are very pleased to be able to offer some free SEND Christmas activities in December!

     

    Our first activity is  Wreath Making on Saturday 7th December! 

    We have two sessions available:

    Family session 10:00 - 12:00

    Adult only session: 13:00 - 15:00

    Location: Gosforth Civic Theatre

     

    Our second activity is an accessible cinema screening for the full family to watch Polar Express on Sunday 15th December, 11:00am at Cineworld Newcastle.

     

    Our events are available to families of children with SEND living within Newcastle upon Tyne local authority area. You must also be a member of Newcastle Parent Carer Forum - Its free and easy to sign up (just let us know when booking!)

    Please note spaces are limited - you will receive a confirmation email once your place has been booked. A reserve list will also be created for any last minute availability.

    On Wednesday 18th December we will be having our Christmas Lunch!

     

    If your child usually has a packed lunch and would like a Christmas Lunch, please send in £2.20 labelled with your child's name & Christmas Lunch or email the school office if your child is entitled to FSM and usually has a packed lunch!
