    This morning we held a whole school assembly to celebrate 'Stars in our School'. We said a huge thank you to all of our support staff for always going above and beyond to support the teachers and children in our school.

    -17th December - 2.30pm Year 5/6 Performance 

    -18th December - 9.15am Nursery & Reception Performance 

    -18th December - Christmas Lunch 

    -19th December - 9.15am - Year 1/2 Performance 

    -19th December - Year 5/6 Christmas Party 

    -20th December - School Closes at 1.30pm to children for the Christmas Holiday 

  • Free SEND Christmas Activities

    We are very pleased to be able to offer some free SEND Christmas activities in December!

     

    Our first activity is  Wreath Making on Saturday 7th December! 

    We have two sessions available:

    Family session 10:00 - 12:00

    Adult only session: 13:00 - 15:00

    Location: Gosforth Civic Theatre

     

    Our second activity is an accessible cinema screening for the full family to watch Polar Express on Sunday 15th December, 11:00am at Cineworld Newcastle.

     

    Our events are available to families of children with SEND living within Newcastle upon Tyne local authority area. You must also be a member of Newcastle Parent Carer Forum - Its free and easy to sign up (just let us know when booking!) 

     

    To book a place, please send an email to contact@newcastlepcf.co.uk confirming the following:

     

    Event name and time

    Name & Address

    Number of Adults Attending

    Number of Children Attending

     

    Please note spaces are limited - you will receive a confirmation email once your place has been booked. A reserve list will also be created for any last minute availability.

    On Wednesday 18th December we will be having our Christmas Lunch!

     

    If your child usually has a packed lunch and would like a Christmas Lunch, please send in £2.20 labelled with your child's name & Christmas Lunch or email the school office if your child is entitled to FSM and usually has a packed lunch!

    REMINDER: We are celebrating Children in Need this Friday 15th November. Children are welcome to attend school in non-uniform.

  • Halloween Reminder

    Reminder: It is our annual Halloween Lunch & Non-Uniform tomorrow! We encourage spooky costumes but no masks please. 

    If your child usually has a packed lunch and would like a Halloween lunch on this day, please send in £2.20 labelled with your child's name or email the school office if your child is entitled to FSM and usually has a packed lunch!

    We also close for half term tomorrow to children - as it is a staff training day on Friday. We return to school on Monday 4th November.

    Thursday 10th October is World Mental Health Day. We would like to invite your child to come dressed in yellow with thousands of others across the UK and raise money to show young people that they’re not alone with their mental health.
