Due to the torrential rain last night, our school field is waterlogged and therefore unsafe. Unfortunately our sports days today will be unable to go ahead.
Children will still participate in sports day activities in the school hall so they will not miss out.
Our summer fayre WILL go ahead whatever the weather!
The forecast looks good today & overnight so we are hoping that the fayre will still be able to go ahead on the field, but we have a plan B if not! -

SPORTS DAY UPDATE KS2
Mon 15 Jul 2024SPORTS DAY UPDATE
Good morning everyone,
Unfortunately, the weather over the weekend has left our school field waterlogged. We are keeping children off the field today to give it the very best chance of drying out. However, unfortunately the forecast for tomorrow isn't good. Please cross your fingers and hope the forecast is incorrect and that our field dries out in time! We will update families at 9am tomorrow morning as to whether the KS2 sports day (tomorrow afternoon) can go ahead.
Thank you for your continued support.
8.50AM - 16th July -
We are keeping everything crossed the rain holds off until later today so at current, we are planning to GO AHEAD with our KS2 sports day at 1.30pm. (The forecast is currently no rain until 4pm)
If the weather worsens, we will send out a text if we are unable to go ahead last minute. -

School Allergy Certification
Thu 11 Jul 2024As of July 2024, we are an official approved Allergy School, we are the first school in the country to be registered!
The schools allergy register is a list of schools who have adopted the schools allergy code and undergone assessment by The Allergy Team. Anyone can search the register to find schools which are committed to best practice in managing allergies.
We have undergone assessments by The Allergy Team and have a special endorsement which shows we are a school that goes above and beyond their statutory responsibilities and are putting the safety and inclusion of pupils first.
We are extremely proud!
Many Thanks

Summer Fayre Information
Tue 09 Jul 2024🌞🌼
Our summer fayre will take place on the afternoon of 18th July. We have lots of exciting stalls for your child to look forward to:-
• Bouncy castle
• School council games
• Glitter tattoos
• Pre-loved
• Bottle tombola
• Hot dogs
• Sweet stall
• Raffle
• Ice-cream van
You are welcome to come and collect your child from the school yard at 1pm to take them to the fayre. Although we have staff members on hand to take any children who do not have an adult in attendance, this will restrict access to some stalls (for example bouncy castle and glitter tattoos). Because of this, you may wish to send another family member or allow your child to go around the fayre with another child’s parent so that they can have a go on everything.
If your child is to attend with someone who is not on our system as a contact, please let the school office know so that we can hand them over on the day.
Your child should have brought some raffle tickets home this week for you to buy. We have lots of great raffle prizes, such as;
- Voucher for Victor’s restaurant
- Build a bear
- Snoodie
- Eagle’s voucher
- Diffuser
- Candle
- Hampers
- Alcohol
& many more!
We hope to see as many of you there on the day! If there are any changes due to the weather, we will communicate this on the day via facebook and our website.
Please note: It will be non-uniform Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July. If you have any school uniform you no longer require and wish to donate to our pre-loved stock, please send this into school with your child.
