Welcome to Nursery! 

A big warm welcome to all of our new Nursery friends. What fun we will have all together this year.

This half term we will supporting the children to explore their new classroom and try new activities. We will encourage the children to play alongside each other to learn how to share and take turns.

In Nursery we love sharing stories and we have a big focus on developing our children's communication and language skills. This half term our whole class text will be "We're going on a bear hunt." The children will be using a story map to learn how to retell the story. We will be also be going on our very own bear hunt, so keep checking back here to see if we find any!

We are always getting our bodies moving in Nursery. We aren't designed to sit still for long periods of time. The Nursery children will be doing daily Squiggle while you wiggle sessions as well as our dough disco parties. All these big movements get our bodies ready for smaller movements needed for writing.
