  • Parking Around School

    Thu 08 Sep 2022

We have received a call from our local residents due to a number of parents and carers blocking access to Richmond Terrace, Grove Road and Whitehall Road due to where they were parked.

This has meant that the disabled school transport could not gain access to a child's home. This also means an emergency vehicle would not be able to gain access to the local streets.

Please can we urge our families to park responsibly when collecting and dropping off children at school?

We understand pick up and drop off times are extremely busy but please can we urge you to use the Percy Car Park to Park and Stride or park at a distance to school so that local streets like Whitehall & Grove Road do not get gridlocked and cause issues for our local community?

    Thank You.

  • Taking Photographs during Events

    Mon 11 Jul 2022

Polite reminder: During parent events, you are welcome to take photographs of your child but only at the end of the performance/event.

We will allow time for you to pull your child to one side so that no other children are included in the photo. Some of our children do not have permission for their photo to be taken or to be published online.

This includes all assemblies, performances and sports days. Thank You.

  • Sports DAy

    Thu 07 Jul 2022

We are so pleased that we are once again in a position to be able to host a school sports day this term! This year’s event will take place on Thursday 14th July. Please see timings for different key stages below:

Early Years (Nursery and Reception): 9.15-10am

    Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and 2): 10.15-11.15am

    Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6): 1.15-2.45pm

Please can we ask that your child(ren) attend school in their school P.E. kit on this day and that they bring a water bottle? Please also ensure that your child is wearing sun cream and brings a cap. This is an exciting time for children, families and staff. So that the event runs smoothly and safely, please adhere to the procedures below:

    -      Seating for spectators will be on the side of the running track which faces the fencing around our school field. Please only sit in this area and refrain from walking across the track.

    -      Please only attend your child(ren’s) timings, This is to minimise numbers and ensure everyone can see their child.

    -      To ensure their safety, our children have been asked not to cross the track to see family members.  Please do not encourage your child(ren) to cross the track.

    -      Younger siblings/ family members are welcome however please ensure children in your care are supervised at all times.

    -      At the end of the event, all children will be taken back to their classrooms.. Once all children have left the field, a member of school staff will inform spectators to make their way off site.

Finally, we do not foresee a reason we would need to cancel our sports day. However, should we need to reschedule this event for any reason, we will endeavour to find an alternative date. Any announcements regarding cancellation (due to adverse weather etc) will be made via our school facebook page.

  • Alternate Uniform

    Mon 04 Jul 2022

We have found an alternate skirt to our school kilt at a cheaper price.

The skirt is the same fabric pattern but an elastic waist instead of the wrap around kilt.

Please note this is not with our official uniform supplier so we have no control over stock etc.

We have checked with our current supplier and they were unable to provide this at the same price.

Current kilts are still available from Top Class Uniforms. The skirt is an alternate.
