  • Summer Fayre Information

    Tue 09 Jul 2024

    🌞🌼

Our summer fayre will take place on the afternoon of 18th July. We have lots of exciting stalls for your child to look forward to:-

    • Bouncy castle

    • School council games

    • Glitter tattoos

    • Pre-loved

    • Bottle tombola

    • Hot dogs

    • Sweet stall

    • Raffle

    • Ice-cream van

You are welcome to come and collect your child from the school yard at 1pm to take them to the fayre. Although we have staff members on hand to take any children who do not have an adult in attendance, this will restrict access to some stalls (for example bouncy castle and glitter tattoos). Because of this, you may wish to send another family member or allow your child to go around the fayre with another child’s parent so that they can have a go on everything.

If your child is to attend with someone who is not on our system as a contact, please let the school office know so that we can hand them over on the day.

    Your child should have brought some raffle tickets home this week for you to buy. We have lots of great raffle prizes, such as;

    • Voucher for Victor’s restaurant
    • Build a bear
    • Snoodie
    • Eagle’s voucher
    • Diffuser
    • Candle
    • Hampers
    • Alcohol

    & many more!

We hope to see as many of you there on the day! If there are any changes due to the weather, we will communicate this on the day via facebook and our website.

Please note: It will be non-uniform Thursday 18th and Friday 19th July. If you have any school uniform you no longer require and wish to donate to our pre-loved stock, please send this into school with your child.

  • Year 6 Residential Updates

    Mon 24 Jun 2024

24/06 - 3.10pm - Year 6 have arrived safely at their residential destination!

25/06 - 2.30pm - We apologise for the limited updates but the children are just having so much fun! They're having a great time but not a lot of sleep was had last night! We are hoping that the fantastic activities they have gotten up to today may tire them out so some everyone gets a little rest this evening.

    26/06 - 8.30am -

Year 6 enjoyed high ropes and also nightline, bushcraft shelter building and campire building. They also took part in a nature walk!

Today they are doing zip wire and bushcraft fire lighting before they return to us this afternoon.

  • Summer Fayre & Fundraising Football Team card

    Tue 11 Jun 2024

Because our annual Christmas Fayre is always so popular, we have decided to run a Summer Fayre. This will take place on the afternoon of 18th July. We will be sending more information out nearer the time but please save the date. We will be having a pre-loved book/toy stall as this is always really popular with the children. If you have anything that you would be happy to donate, please keep it to one side as we will be accepting donations from 8th July. The raffle is always hugely popular too. Our PTA are busy sourcing donations. If you or anyone you know has a business and would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate this. Thank you in anticipation of your support.

We are also running a ‘Guess the Favourite Football Team’ card which is available now in the school office. It is £1.00 per team with a winning stake of £50.00!

If you, your child or another member of your family would like to pick a team, please pop into the school office with payment and Mrs Cullen will let you know which teams are available

  • Discounted Meals in Half Term

    Wed 22 May 2024
  • Pre-Packed Foods in School

    Tue 30 Apr 2024

We are working with the ‘Allergy Team’ and have signed up to be added to the Schools Allergy Register.

The Schools Allergy Register includes a list of schools who have adopted the allergy code and undergone assessment by The Allergy Team. This means that anyone can search the register to find schools which are committed to best practice in managing allergies.

Schools on the register have undergone assessments by The Allergy Team and have a special endorsement which shows schools that go above and beyond their statutory responsibilities and are putting the safety and inclusion of pupils first.

Therefore – going forward we are only able to accept pre-packed food in school. This includes food brought in for parties, birthday treats etc.

As much as we love to see your homemade creations, this is to keep everyone as safe as possible.

  • Sam Thompson Cash 4 Kids Challenge

    Tue 30 Apr 2024

We are taking part in the 1 million step challenge for cash for kids! We are looking to walk at least 800m (This should give us over 226,000 steps.)

We are hoping that nearly every family could sponsor us £1 to go towards Cash for Kids and the amazing work they do. DONATIONS MUST BE MADE VIA THE LINK BELOW -

    Where the money goes -

Children from struggling families have free school meals during term-time, so they have at least one hot meal a day during the week.

But during the holidays they’re going hungry or could be eating unhealthy, processed foods. Initiatives driven by community groups, schools, sports clubs and small local charities try to fill the gap by providing food and activities - and it’s these that Cash for Kids Day funds will support.

-£5.50 could provide drinks, snacks and a hot meal at a holiday club for one child a day

-£11.94 could provide a day’s experience and a hot meal for a child

-£51.66 could provide a place at a five-day sports club with breakfast and lunch.
