Welcome to Nursery! 

We start 2026 in Nursery with our new topic "traditional tales". The children will be learning the story of The Three Little Pigs alongside lots of different traditional tales

Just like in the rest of school we use our whole class story map to learn how to tell the story off by heart. The children are becoming very good story tellers. 

In Nursery we always keep our bodies moving with dough disco, parachute games, dancing, bubble popping and lots of time spent outside. 

We are continuing our work on developing the children's number sense. We will also be exploring shape, size, height, weight and length to develop mathematical concepts. 

At the heart of all we do is learning through fun and play. Building friendships, following the daily routine, exploring ideas and developing confidence always play a big part in our day.
