    Who we are

We’re a small group of parents who volunteer our time to help support Walbottle Village with various activities throughout the year, helping to organise activities and fundraising ideas to raise money for resources, fun surprises, supporting the cost of school trips and outings, and so much more.

As parents with children across all years at Walbottle, we all bring something different, making the PTA experienced, knowledgeable, capable, and all-round great.

Whether we’re writing communications for the school website, promoting our raffles through Facebook, organising costume swaps for World Book Day, or helping out on Sports Days and tying flags around the school yard for the Queens Jubilee celebrations – there is always someone available to help, organise, and ensure every event is a great success.

    What we do

As a PTA, we aim to:

    • Support Walbottle Village Primary School in various activities where required.
    • Raise funds for the school and all children at Walbottle Village.
    • Support parents of Walbottle Village through various events and activities throughout the year.

We meet regularly to discuss our plans for the term, upcoming fundraising opportunities and events, and how money should be spent.

Over the years, the PTA has:

    •         Supported many events throughout the school year
    •         Held school uniform stalls for parents
    •         Raised money for school equipment, books, and stationery
    •         Held costume swaps for Halloween and World Book Day
    •         Held various cake sales
    •         Helped out on the very busy Christmas stalls, tombola, and raffles.
    The PTA needs you!

If you have any exciting ideas or would like to be a part of the PTA, please email admin@walbottlevillage.newcastle.sch.uk – we’d love to have you on board!

Alternatively, you can catch any member of the PTA at school to find out our next meeting dates and how you can get involved; we’d be happy to chat.

    Thanks

    Your PTA
